Three Crespi Plaques
(Click to enlarge). From the book "Atlantis on the Amazon". "David and Goliath"? He is wearing a Phillistine headdress. The expressions on these characters are perfect showing a very high degree of lost-wax technique expertise. The clothing is accurate for the era of Goliath. These subjects are called "Caucasian" but are actually Phoenician (the ancestors). The one I call "Joseph in Egypt", the original piece from which the enhanced Ecuadoran crest on the flag comparison was taken. Young natives in the Ecuadoran Amazon. The Indians were the ones who gave the hidden art treasures to Father Crespi.
